I decided, two weeks before his 39th birthday, to throw my husband a surprise beer-tasting birthday party. I, naturally, enlisted Laura’s creative genius. As it turns out, two weeks was a bit of a tight timeline for stealthily planning all the elements of the party, sneaking around to buy supplies and concocting a back story (which may or may not have included lying about going to church.)
Picture home-made beer score cards, a DIY tasting tray with miniature mugs, a hearty menu and beer cupcakes!

And what’s a beer-tasting party without beer cupcakes? Corona cupcakes with zesty cream cheese frosting and Chocolate Guinness cupcakes with Bailey’s Irish Cream butter cream.
Have you ever been to a beer-tasting party? Ours was family-oriented; a very social and fun time. Just ensure your guests drink responsibly, offer plenty of snacks and non-alcoholic beverage options and enjoy!
